The campground has many activities available for all family members. These activities include:
Golf: Adjacent to the campground lies the Shelter Valley Pines Golf Course. This award winning 18 hole club offers golfers USGA greens, elevated tees, white sand bunkers, light meals and rentals. For more information, please visit www.sheltervalleypines.com.
Swimming: A chlorinated swimming area lies in the center of the campground and has a large sand beach. This spring fed swimming area has a buoy line with a great wade in shallow area. Also fun for all is playing in the Shelter Valley creek catching minnows, crayfish, and frogs!
Fishing: Through the park runs the Shelter Valley Creek, a natural breeding ground for Rainbow Trout. The creek offers excellent spring fishing from opening day to the May long weekend and great fall Salmon fishing during September. No fishing after September 30th.
Miniature Golf: At the front of the park is a fully renovated 18 hole miniature golf course. Bring your camera because the castle built by local artist George Pichl provides an excellent photo moment for kids of all ages! The course has man made ponds, ramps and other obstacles for kids of all ages.
