Overnight Camping
Choose from one of many overnight sites located throughout the park, along the Shelter Valley Creek or near the swimming area. All overnight sites include:
● Picnic table & fire pit
● 30 amp service, water & sewage
All overnight campers have access to washrooms, showers, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, creek, swimming area, playground and shuffleboard. Sewage hookup included in overnight camping fee. There is a dump station accessible to registered overnight campers of Shelter Valley Park. We do not provide dump station services for off the road campers. Please note all overnight sites are back in. the office prior to entering the campground.

stay (Fri, Sat, Sun) for the months of
June, July and August
-Extra vehicle charge $5 per vehicle
-2 adults and 3 children per site
-Maximum 2 leashed pets per site. Poop and scoop
in effect. There are 4 poop containers (black pails)
located throughout the park. Do not leave your
pets unattended; dogs are not to bark excessively
and are not allowed in the swimming area.
For the safety and comfort of all guests, high-risk
dogs are not permitted on the premises. This includes
but is not limited to: pit bull, bulldog, rottweiler,
German shepherd, Doberman pinscher, Mastiff, and/or
any other mixed guard dog breeds. Please inform your
guests of the dog policy before they visit the
campground a leash.
Cancellation Policy:
We understand that plans can change. To help
manage our campground availability fairly for all
guests, the following cancellation policy applies
May 1 – May 31: A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is
required
June 1 – Sept 7: A minimum of 7 days’ (1 week) notice
is required
Sept 8 – Thanksgiving Monday: A minimum of 48
hours’ notice is required
No-Show & Late Cancellation Policy
Failure to cancel within the required notice period,
or failure to arrive for your reservation, will result
in your credit card being charged for the reservation,
using the card provided at the time of booking.
